Printed chiffon is a single weave fabric making it a lightweight, floating fabric slightly transparent. Printed chiffon is perfect for floaty dresses, blouses, scarves and lingerie. Printed chiffon also makes a good overlay over another fabric such as satin in order to create a layered effect. Due to the lightweight, flowing nature of printed chiffon it can be a springy fabric which makes it slightly more difficult to work with, although the beautiful feminine features of printed chiffon are worth the extra work required to keep it straight in order to cut to shape.
